The central water purification system of Chongqing Hospital mainly relies on imported single-section pure water machines, and a few domestic single-section pure water machines are used. With the increase of subdivision departments in the medical industry, the demand for purified water in each department is also on the rise. The shortcomings of a single department purified water machine are gradually exposed, it is not convenient for centralized management, investment is scattered, the cost is high, and the water quality safety is not guaranteed.
The purified water host performs advanced treatment on tap water to make it reach the basic water quality standards directly used by direct drinking water and various inspection departments, and then supplies it to various departments through the whole internal circulation pipe network and end treatment device.
Taking a medium-sized hospital as an example, the comparison between centralized high-quality water supply and independent water production of a single department: the cost of pure water per liter of equipment in the medical centralized water supply system is only 28.57 per cent of that of a single department. Every year, the hospital saves more than 276400 tons of precious tap water and more than 602200 kW hours of electricity. Water fee is 2.5 yuan/ton, sewage treatment fee is 2.2 yuan/ton, sewage fee is 0.6 yuan/ton, electricity fee is 1.1 yuan/kWh, saving water and electricity 2.9236 million yuan. The annual total operating cost is saved by more than 3.1246 million yuan, that is, the medical centralized water supply system is used to replace the water production equipment of a single department, and the saving of about two years exceeds the investment of the whole medical centralized water supply system.
